Seneca County Humane Society was founded in 2005. They're currently the only facility in Seneca County that accepts cats, whether they're owner-surrendered, victims of neglect or abuse, or just neighborhood strays. On any given day, they have about 80 cats and kittens available for adoption. All cats, along with the many dogs in the shelter, are assessed and evaluated to determine whether they'll be a safe and friendly addition to their potential forever families.
Seneca County Humane Society strives to find the best homes for all of the homeless animals of Seneca County. They've had animals in their care for over a year who have finally found homes, so they never lose hope!
