Bell County Animal Shelter in Belton, TX opened their current facility in 2012. They believe the management of stray, sick, and dangerous animals in Bell County is essential for the general health and safety of their citizensy. The shelter has two main goals:
They have 48 dog runs and 63 cat cages with roll-up bay doors, so all of the animals get fresh air every day. There's both an outside play area and an inside play area, so go visit and check it out! You're required to sign a contract stating you'll have your pet vaccinated against rabies within 72 hours and that unsterilized pets will be spayed/neutered within 2 weeks of adoption unless (otherwise stated in the adoption contract).
